24/25 Gameweek 3

A new leader emerges in the form of Soomoo junior, Will, with a cracking top score of 94 for week 3. He has the goldmine combination of Mo Salah and Erling Haaland, the latter of which he captained for a lovely haul of 34 points. The second top scorer for the week was Nathan who stayed put in second place overall, he also has Salah and Haaland (captain). Our third best scorers, Luis and Angelo tied on 82 points. Both have the Egyptian King and wisely selected him as captain for Liverpool’s dominant display at Old Trafford.

A pretty good week for our managers with 16 of them matching or beating the average for the week. We had 4 Wildcards played in the week with varying degrees of success, though all scored at least average. No other chips were played in week 3.

We head in to the International break with Haaland going up by 0.1 again, making it that little bit harder to fit him in. With multiple players going down in value adding to the difficulty, the bargain Brighton duo of Danny Welbeck and Joao Pedro have both gone up by 0.2 from their starting price already. There could be even more Wildcards in play during the break with managers looking to capitalise on those players proving their worth in the first 3 weeks and shipping out the ones who have yet to deliver or worse, have left the league entirely.

May your transfers prove wise and beneficial, and your squads remain injury free.
