24/25 Gameweek 10

Nathan extends his lead at the top with the top score of 70 thanks largely to Mo Salah, Dominic Solanke, Morgan Rogers, Josko Gvardiol and standout performer Ola Aina of Nottingham Forest with a goal, clean sheet and maximum bonus points. Luciano continues to climb the table and is up to second after playing his Wildcard, among those he brought in was Mo Salah who he made captain, he has sacrificed Erling Haaland to make this move and only time will tell if this proves the correct choice. Our third highest scorer of the week is up to third in the league, Christian’s loyalty to Forest is paying off this season as Chris Wood continues his incredible run of form up front and his double up in defence of Milenkovic and Aina also delivered. Former Forest player Brennan Johnson chipped in along with Gvardiol and captain Salah. Our second highest scorer was Daisy, who appears to have left her team alone since the early days of the season as Alexander Isak returnde for Newcastle after a barren spell and captain Dom Solanke hauled nicely, another Forest player scored well as Hudson-Odoi scored in their 3-0 win over West Ham.

Along with the aforementioned Wildcard chip, Joel played his Triple Captain chip on Mo Salah, which paid off nicely as the Liverpool man scored the winner against Brighton and took home 2 bonus points. Two managers took hits as both Kev and Matthew made three changes to take 8 and 4 point hits respectively. Twenty managers met or beat the average of 39.

European fixtures return midweek as Liverpool host Leverkusen and Man City travel to Sporting CP on Tuesday night while Wednesday sees Aston Villa travel to Club Brugge and Arsenal go to Milan to play Inter. On Thursday Spurs have a tough away fixture to Galatasaray, Man Utd host PAOK Thessaloniki in the Europa League and Chelsea play FC Noah at home in the Conference League.
