Some big scores out there this week and the biggest of the lot has delivered us a new leader in the form of Luciano who scored 87 points thanks to clean sheets for Robert Sanchez in goal and Virgil Van Dijk in defence; goals and assists in midfield for Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka and captain Mo Salah; and finally, a goal up top for Chris Wood. Former leader Nathan scored 60 which was enough to cling to second thanks to captain Salah, Bruno Fernandes, Nicolas Jackson and Ola Aina. David joins Nathan on 822 in second place with returns from captain Saka, Salah, Van Dijk, Wood and Kai Havertz to score 78 for the week. No hugs for them but there were several other scores in the 80s (the 80s). Angelo netted 86, Michael and Chipper both notched 85 and there were 3 83s for Luis, Adam and i11usiveMan, nice.
Two Wildcards were played, one by Lou for 69 and the other for i11usiveMan for the aforementioned 83. Two 8 point hits taken by Adam and Luis look to be worth it so far and 4 point hits were taken by Joel, Matthew and Chris to varying degrees of success. Ten teams have all chips still available which could prove key in surviving the upcoming deluge of fixtures.
It’s a quick turnaround as the next gameweek kicks off on Tuseday night with a full set of games over three days to start December. A lot can happen this month as the amount of games pile up we could see key players getting rested and you never know, Man City and Erling Haaland might remember how to score goals and win games.
Thanks for reading.
