Luciano sits top once again on 898 points after a nice week score of 69. Captain Mo Salah returned yet again in his incredible run of form and his points were added to by a cheeky stolen goal for Cole Palmer, and clean sheets for Josko Gvardiol and Dean Henderson. Nathan closed the gap by a single point scoring 70, he also captained Salah, had Gvardiol while the rest of his points came from a clean sheet for Jordan Pickford, a goal for Morgan Rogers and an assist for Erling Haaland. David retains third place with 54 points on the week, he has Salah but captained Palmer and received points from Dwight McNeil with two assists. There were more scores in the 80s this week but top of the lot was Tim Kelly with 85. He captained Salah, has Palmer and Gvardiol and also got points from Anthony Gordon, Jurien Timber and David Raya.
No chips were played this week but five managers opted for a 4 point hit to make changes, Kev was back at it alongside Neil, Chris, Mark and i11usiveMan.
It’s a single day between gameweeks as we are back in action Saturday through to Monday with the small matter of the Merseyside derby kicking things off and the slightly less exciting sounding West Ham versus Wolves closing the week out. After that it’s a European week for those involved, Liverpool are off to Girona while Aston Villa head to Leipzig on Tuesday night; Wednesday sees Arsenal host Monaco and Man City travel to Turin to play Juventus; Thursday night Man United are away to Viktoria Plzen, Spurs are away to Rangers and Chelsea B are away to FC Astana.
