Nathan’s lead over Luciano is down to a single point going into the halfway fixtures of the season. He captained Mo Salah and had returns from Cole Palmer, Jurien Timber and Matheus Cunha, he also had Bruno Fernandes who was sent off and left clean sheet points from Jordan Pickford on the bench. Luciano also had captain Salah, Palmer, Cunha and Fernandes but added Alexander Isak into the mix and opted for Gabriel from Arsenal at the back. David edged closer in third place thanks to captain Salah, Palmer and Cunha along with Kai Havertz up top and Lewis Hall and David Raya with clean sheets in defence.
Tim top scored on the week with 91 points on his first Wildcard chip. He brought in Cunha, Rogers, Isak, Aina, Saliba and Fabianski in place of Wood, Joao Pedro, Mbeumo, Timber, Gvardiol and Henderson. Mike also played his first Wildcard chip to score 64, he went for Aina and Robinson in defence and Rogers and Sarr in midfield to replace Walker, Udogie, Yates and Mitoma. That move gives him 3 Forest defensive players that paid off this week at least. In addition to those two Wildcards we had a Triple Captain played by Chris on Mo Salah for 68 points overall that moved him up to 25th and a Free Hit from Jake that netted him just 42 points, ouch.
The Festive Fixture Frenzy is nearly over as we head into Gameweek 19 on Sunday through to New Year’s Day and the halfway point of the season for everyone bar Everton and Liverpool.
