
Joel remains top after a decent weekly score of 56 contributed to by the likes of Jurien Timber, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Anthony Elanga, Evanilson and Alexander Isak, captain Mo Salah had a quiet game for once. Luis remains second scoring 52 points after playing his Wildcard and benefiting with returns from Matz Sels, Nikola Milenkovic, Bukayo Saka, Omar Marmoush and Isak. David closed the gap slightly after scoring 61 points from Virgil Van Dijk, Morgan Rogers, Bryan Mbeumo, Cole Palmer, Isak and Jorgen Strand-Larsen. Top score of the week went to Chris’ FC Grump with 7, he had Sels, Van Dijk, Marc Cucurella, Marco Asensio, Marcus Rashford, Marmoush and he captained Isak.
Sam, Adam, and Luciano also played their Wildcard scoring 52, 47 and 47 respectively. Scott, Jake and i11usiveMan all had the Assitant Manager chip in play but managed a sum total of zero points between them thanks to picking Fabian Hurzeler, Ruben Amorim and Graham Potter.
A quick turnaround as Gameweek 31 kicks off Saturday lunchtime and quite a few popular picks are flagged as injured, sees many managers with decisions to make regarding their squads. Midweek sees the return of European actiona with Arsenal entertaining Real Madrid on Tuesday, Aston Villa travelling to Paris on Wednesday, Man United are off to Lyon on Thursday as Spurs welcome Frankfurt and Chelsea jet off to Warsaw. When the Premier League returns at the weekend we have the first of three double Gameweeks in a row as Newcastle and Crystal Palace play twice. Opportunities for big points swings ahead, or not, we’ll see.
