With three weeks to go the gap between David in 1st and Adam in 2nd is just a single point as Adam gained a net 55 points having taken a four point hit while David scored 48. Adam’s net 55 points was the top score for the week and his points came from Ezri Konsa, Josko Gvardiol, Ebereche Eze, captain Bryan Mbeumo, Yoanne Wissa and Alexander Isak. Adam’s move up the league has pushed Joel down to third place a further seven points behind, he scored a respectable 47 points for the week. Down in fourth Luis had a less impressive 37 point week, a non scoring captain Omar Marmoush and the suddenly unreliable Forest defence being largely culpable. Luciano rounds out the top five with 44 points for the week. Many of the same names are in the top performing teams so it’s important to have the differentials delivering at this stage of the season.
Fewer chips in play in week 35 with just Angelo playing a Bench Boost for 47 points and two Assistant Managers in the guise of Pep Guardiola for Nathan delivering nine points and Thomas Frank scoring ten points for Andy. Three managers opted for the four point hit including Adam, as Neil and Luciano joined him in sacrificing points to make extra changes.
WIth all the European Semi Finals now concluded there are three English teams remaining after Arsenal came unstuck against the very impressive PSG, Spurs and Man Utd will meet in the Europa League final and Chelsea compete for the Conference League trophy.
