25/26 Gameweek 4

We return from the international break and Neil remains top on 263 points after scoring 76 and using a Wildcard chip to make nine changes to their squad. Top score of the week was 82 and elevated Luis to second place on 254 points; Micky Van de Ven, Maxence Lacroix, Mo Salah, Antoine Semenyo, Elliot Anderson, and captain Erling Haaland all scoring nicely for his team. Fraser slips to third on 247 after a slightly below average 61 points and Chris slipped to fourth after a decent 71 left him on 245. Viewtiful Spurs rounds out the top 5 on 239, the relatively small difference of 24 points to Neil accounts for over 1.3 million places overall at this stage of the season so it’s fair to say that an awful lot can change quickly.

In terms of chips played this week in addition to Neil’s Wildcard, Chris Andy, Christian and Matt also played theirs; Mark took an 8 point hit and played their Bench Boost for a net total of 55 points. Kev also took an 8 point hit to net 50, i11usiveMan took a four point hit for a gain of 54 and Jake took a twelve pointer for 61 net.

The Champion’s League first round of fixtures kicks off this midweek and sees Arsenal travel to Bilbao, Spurs host Villareal, Chelsea travel to Munich, Liverpool host Atletico Madrid, Man City host Napoli and Newcastle host Barcelona. Brentford, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Notts Forest are all in EFL Cup action midweek too. The Premier League returns Saturday lunchtime with the small matter of the Merseyside Derby and closes out with minnows Arsenal playing fellow paupers Man City.
