Neil remains top on 412 points after playing the Triple Captain chip on Erling Haaland and ending with a score of 84. The big Norwegian made him (and the other five managers in our league who played the Triple Captain chip) sweat though as he left it until injury time to add two goals to his assist and deliver the all important three bonus points. Marcos Senesi continued to deliver points despite conceding with an assist and defensive contribution points, Joe Rodon of Leeds scored in his team’s 2-2 draw with Senesi’s Bournemouth, and Antoine Semenyo scored in the same game to round out the scoring for Neil. Top score of the week went to Andy with 90 points, another Haaland Triple Captainer, he got his hauls from Gabriel of Arsenal, Mukiele of Sunderland, Gravenberch of Liverpool and Semenyo of Bournemouth.
Along with Andy and Neil, four others played the Triple Captain chip on Erling Haaland, Adam, David, Christian and Viewtiful Spurs. Luciano went with a Wildcard and kicked things off with 53 points, he was among the unfortunate managers to have played Bruno Fernandes, who had apenalty saved after a comically long wait to take it and Trevoh Chalobah who was sent off. Luis and Adam both took four point hits to make changes, i11usiveMan took an eight point hit and Kev took a traditionally large sixteen point hit.
Lots of European games midweek with all three competitions having fixtures before the Premier League returns with a Friday night game between Bournemouth and Fulham, the weekend closes with Brentford v Man City on Sunday ahead of an international break.
