Neil stays top on 848 after a relatively quiet weekly score of 41, while Andy jumped up in to second place with 49 points for the week after playing his first Bench Boost chip and sits on 753, Fraser had a stinker scoring just 22 and slips to third on 750, Luis matched Neil’s score of 41 but drops to fourth on 746, Viewtiful Spurs rounds out the top 5 on 742 scoring 48 for the week. Top score of the week came from Christian who played his Free Hit chip for 71 points and took himself up to sixth just four points from fifth, Christian’s points came from Gianluigi Donnarumma, Virgil Van Dijk, Bruno Fernandes, Phil Foden, Elliot Anderson, Alexander Isak and Igor Thiago, his captain Erling Haaland blanked but that was a nice score all the same.
Five other managers opted to play a chip this week and it was the Triple Captain chip that proved the most popular as Luis, Luciano, Pilch and i11usiveMan all put it on Haaland hoping for a big haul against Leeds but they were all left disappointed. Christian was the only manager to play the Free Hit chip which had also proved very popular among the wider player base as mentioned already. Andy was the only other manager to play a chip and went with the Bench Boost, also mentioned previously. Two players chose to take a points hit, yes Kev was one of them but he kept it to eight points this week, Luciano took a four point hit to make two changes.
It’s a quick turnaround as the next Gameweek occurs between Tuesday and Thursday with all teams playing as the fixtures start to come thick and fast throughout December. There’s a lot of players missing games through injury or suspension already and there are a number of players just one yellow card away from a ban, having a squad that are all playing could prove useful going forward.
