25/26 Gameweek 15

So, there’s a week missing from the updates, so what? Onto Week 15 then, Neil remains top (yawn) on 987 points and is 100 ahead of Fraser in second, behind Fraser is Viewtiful Spurs on 862 in third and then it’s Luis on 854 and Luciano on 852. Luciano had a great week with 79 points but it was our very own Dave that top scored for the week with 84. His first choice captain Mo Salah sat out Liverpool’s game against Leeds and watched on as his team mates threw away leads twice against Leeds before he appeared to lay the foundations of his exit from the club. Stepping in for Dave was Hugo Ekitike with a base of 13 points, fortunately for Dave he’d played his Triple Captain chip so netted 39 as a result, other players to score well were Micky Van de Ven, Jordan Pickford, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

With regard to chips being played Chris was another to play the Triple Captain chip, he went for Erling Haaland who once again failed to return anything other than appearance points so Chris was left with just six points from him. One other chip was played from Andy, he went with the Free Hit and scored 44 points. One manager chose to take a points hit to make changes, you’ll never guess who it was, Kev made four changes, starting on -8 points but he did bring in Phil Foden for his latest big haul of 12 points, that’s 44 points in the last three weeks.

After two gameweeks in a short period of time, the Premier League returns to a normal cadence until week 19 which is another full gameweek that takes place midweek around the New Year celebrations. The next two midweeks do have a mix of European and domestic fixtures so there are a number of players with extra fixtures to play or perhaps get a little rest depending on the quality of opposition.
