25/26 Gameweek 18

Neil’s lead has stretched slightly and he now sits on 1202 points at the summit. The decision to play Martin Dubravka ahead of Dorde Petrovic was key to amassing 61 points and he brought in the Liverpool duo of Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz as the latter finally got off the mark in the Premier League and returned 10 points. Top score of the week went to Lou as she also brought in Wirtz and played Dubravka, there were Defensive Contribution points for Nordi Mukiele and Maxence Lacroix along with goals for Antoine Semenyo and Raul Jimenez and assists for Harry Wilson, Bukayo Saka and Igor Thiago.

There was only one chip played this week and it was Pilch finally getting around to using his first Wildcard, his first week’s score was 47 so he’ll be hoping for bigger things going forward. One manager chose to take a points hit and it was Luis that lost eight points for extra transfers and had a net gain of 47 points.

The next deadline rolls around very quickly on Tuesday 30th December with six games, followed by the remaining four fixtures on New Year’s Day with another short gap to the next deadline on Saturday 3rd January.
