
Neil’s lead at the top has been cut by twenty points in one week thanks to him only just managing the average score of 48 for the week while Fraser banged in 68. Two teams shared the top score of the week with Lou and Pilch both scoring 85, Lou capitalised on Brentford’s 3-0 win over Sunderland by having her captain Igor Thiago scoring a brace and Nathan Collins getting an assist and clean sheet, Maxence Lacroix scored 8 while Elliot Anderson scored 7, Antoine Semenyo scored 6 in his last game for Bournemouth, Erling Haaland scored 6 and Harry Wilson’s hot streak continued with 9. Meanwhile Pilch played the Triple Captain chip on Thiago, also had Wilson, Haaland and Semenyo, went with Marc Guehi of Palace for a clean sheet, Michael Keane scored before being sent off and Bruno Guimares scored and assisted.
A handful of other chips were played this week as Chipper Spice went with the Bench Boost for 18 points out of a total of 67, Luis and Mark both went with their second Wildcards and both got off to a decent start with 72 and 63 points respectively. Luciano opted to take a hit of four points to make two changes to end with a net gain of 49 points.
The Premier League takes a back seat for the third round of the FA Cup at the weekend and in the following midweek the first legs of the League Cup Semi-finals take place with Newcastle taking on Man City on Tuesday and Chelsea host Arsenal on Wednesday. The Premier League returns with Man Utd vs Man City at 12:30 on Saturday and the gameweek ends with Brighton vs Bournemouth on Monday night.
