There was one standout performer this week, as most players hovered around the average score of 40 Luis scored 82, thanks in part to playing the Bench Boost chip to gain an extra 14 from Martin Dubravka 5, Morgan Rogers 2, Jurrien Timber 5 and Dominic Calvert-Lewin 2. His starting eleven contributers were Malick Thiaw 9, Trevoh Chalobah 8, James Tarkowski 8, captain Gabriel 16, Florian Wirtz 10 and Enzo Fernandez 6. As a result Luis moved up into third place on 1268 points total, at the top Neil scored a lowly 38 for the week and now sits on 1376 total, another week of what could have been as he left 19 points on the bench. Fraser remains second after also scoring 38 for the week and has amassed 1291 points overall. Dropping to fourth was Viewtiful Spurs with 42 for the week leaving him on 1252 overall and in fifth is relative newcomer to the league Anthony on 1241 after scoring 35.

Luis was the only player to go with a chip this week but three managers opted to take a points hit to make changes, i11usive Man made three transfers and took an eight point hit, Jake also made three changes but it only cost him four points and finally Luciano made two changes for another four point hit.

European football returns midweek as Man City travel to Norway to play Bodo/Glimt, Spurs host Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal are off to Milan to play Inter on Tuesday, Chelsea are at home to Pafos FC, Liverpool are off to Marseille and Newcastle entertain PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday. Thursday night sees Aston Villa go to Istanbul to play Fenerbache and Nottingham Forest are off to Portugal to play Braga in the Europa League. Premier League is back in action on Saturday 24th January with West Ham vs Sunderland kicking things off at lunchtime, the weekend closes out with Everton vs Leeds on Monday night.
