A pretty decent week for most of our league with only five teams scoring below the average of 58, our top four all scored between 62 and 66 so it hasn’t really changed much up there. There was a tie for top score of the week with two teams scoring 76, no surprise that the line-ups are quite similar with both teams containing David Raya’s 7 points, Gabriel’s 6, Marcos Senesi’s 2, Declan Rice’s 5, Bryan Mbeumo’s 8, Erling Haaland’s 11, Igor Thiago’s 5 and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s 7, both managers captained Bruno Fernandes for 20, so the two differences were Matt having Marc Guehi’s 3 and Antoine Semenyo’s 2 while Anthony had Trevoh Chalobah’s 4 and Joachim Andersen’s 1. Anthony may well be kicking himself a little as sitting on his bench were Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall with 13 points, Morgan Rogers with 10 and Chris Richards with 8, what a week that could have been.
Only one person played a chip as Mike Triple Captained Bryan Mbeumo for 24 points out of his 55 for the week. Nobody chose to take a points hit.
A quick turnaround as Gameweek 26 gets going on Tuesday evening with three matches kicking off at 19:30 meaning a 18:00 deadline. A slightly strange week as Arsenal and Wolves be playing twice but both teams will have an FA Cup fixture in between as Arsenal entertain Wigan of League One while Wolves travel to Grimsby of League Two.
