Nathan is holding on to top spot yet again, he scored the average 49 points this week with a clean sheet between the sticks for Jordan Pickford, captain Erling Haaland scoring, Bryan Mbeumo got an assist and then Mo Salah hauled with a goal and an assist and three bonus points. Luciano narrowed the gap again scoring 71, he had Salah as captain, two Liverpool defenders, Virgil Van Dijk and Ibrahim Konate both got clean sheets, he also had Mbeumo along with Matheus Cunha and Raul Jimenez up front scoring points. Cunha scored and assisted on his way to three bonus points while Jimenez assisted an in form Harry Wilson. David’s WiseOldElf is back up into third after a decent 64 point return, his team also contains Cunha, Mbeumo, Van Dijk and Mo Salah as captain, Pedro Porro added an assist for him. It’s fair to say our top scorer of the week has been absent for most of the season, Jake’s team Mainoo Mountain is propping up the rest of us in 32nd place on 442 points total, but scored a phenomenal 82 points this week. The points came largely from Manchester and Liverpool assets with Andre Onana and Lisandro Martinez returning at the back, while Bruno Fernandes and captain Salah got him 45 points between them in midfield and up front it was Halland’s goal and 11 points from the returning Joao Pedro. Quite the week.
I11usiveMan played the Free Hit chip to get 47 points while 4 managers chose to take a four point hit to make changes and tinkerer in chief Kev sacrificed 16 points, at least he brought in Salah. Nineteen of our managers met or beat the average this week.
